During the filming of this short, JD was not alone and was being followed through the woods. He recalls hearing somebody wade through the overgrowth behind him then stop when he stopped. He also recalls how he wanted to leave half way through and how he came across three fresh tracks in the long grass as he entered the center of the grassy area. The fact the belongings under the tree were already there, signified that somebody may live in the woods. Once filming was complete and JD was leaving, in a hurry he said, he found that one of the 'paired up' boots was missing and it sent a shiver down his spine. Even now JD feels uneasy speaking about it and believes he could have actually become a real victim of the 'found footage' horror he was making.
