Ed is spending the winter in Antarctica, setting up Scott Base and getting itchy feet. Meanwhile, Bunny is dragging his heels at Shackleton and wants Ed to sit around and wait. And when that's all over, Nepal beckons once again.
Louise travels to Nepal to be with Ed in his recovery. The family and George get more involved with school building in the area. And then tragedy strikes.
