    Absolutley fantasy pseudoscience

This is another made up pseudoscience, disigned to make you believe in ufo's but with out any real evidience just lies opon lies. I went to space and all I got was this lousy space squid T-shirt.

    I kinda like it

Coming from a chemistry graduate student, I sorta like this series. I've seen UFO "documentaries" and pseudoscientific series that I am very very quick to dismiss. This isn't necessarily one of them. YES they bring up far fetched ideas but what sets them apart from other "alien" series (Ancient Aliens, Pyramid Code...) - which are the ones that really deserve 1 star, is that NASA's Unexplained Files provides both evidence that the footage may be and also MAY NOT BE real. Most of the time, they present the footage, and then interview scientists that say it's BS! They entertain the likely possibility that it isn't aliens. Because let's be honest, science has no official evidence of extraterrestrial life. They don't say anything FOR CERTAIN (because if they did it wouldn't be science)!!!! They just present the data and kind of allow you to conclude. So everyone who's saying this series is pseudoscience....I mean, yeah kinda but it still presents the information in a rather scientific manner. To me, it's so important to present information from both sides and this series does a pretty good job with that. Overall, I like it, and I just wanted to offer a sort of rebuttal for everyone giving this series 1 star. I don't think it deserves that.

More like NASA's EXPLAINED files amirite?

Most of the episodes are about cases that have been convincingly explained but the TV show pretends that they haven't for like 3/4ths of the presentation only to say "but this one has been very convincingly explained and it's not aliens lol" towards the end: it's so incredibly annoying! This has turned me away from the show more than anything else. The real "unexplained" files out of the first two seasons could've been done in like 3 episodes. I'm including there the ones they pretend that have been explained by NASA's silly handwaving away of the facts. There are some interesting cases here that I didn't know about and that's why I'm giving it six stars. However, I rather remain ignorant of the remaining "unexplained files" (like 4 more seasons) instead of subjecting myself to the annoyance that is this show for most of each episodes runtime.

    Alien Invasion

The subject shown is thinking inside the box, not what can happen. An alien advanced civilization would not invade like Normandy, don't have to. Simply introduce a biological agent host specific by numerous methods, or maybe they already have.

What if this, what if that.... SciFi nonsense....

What a waste of time! It wants to be real science, it tries to be science fiction with some real science mixed in, but it fails completely on all counts. As the seasons progressed, the stories got more and more absurd.

Don't waste your time. If you want to watch a show covering real science rather than pseudo-science garbage, look elsewhere.
