Banshee

Short film written, produced and directed by Sean van Leijenhorst. Sean is currently studying at The Prague Film School. For a low budget film, i found it to be professionally done. The leading lady played the part great and rightly won an award in an American film festival. The story line is one not yet portrayed in a full length film but should be. If you don't know the tales/ fables about the Irish Banshee, this film will give a good insight to something that many Irish people claim to have experienced. With more means and funding Sean could make this film just as scary as The Blare Witch Project.I am looking forward to seeing more films from Sean as he progresses in his carrier.

I liked this short horror movie a lot. I thought it was scary and suspenseful. I thought the performances were great and the story was really on-point. I get tired of horror short movies that don't have any dialogue or have very limited dialogue. This seems very lazy. In this horror short, the writer has created some great characters with depth and some great dialogue.

This is one of my favorite horror short movies.
