    Enjoyable

Being a fan of Wentworth Miller I watched this episode exclusively for him. This was his big comeback on Television. And it was great. But surprisingly I really liked everything in this episode. So much that I wanted to catch up on this show and I watched the other 3 episodes online. This show has all the essentials to be a great one.

Grant is a good choice for Barry Allen. All the other characters do a good job as well. And it's really interesting to see how The Flash progresses episode after episode.

I thought Going Rogue was the best episode amongst all 4. There was the right amount of action, thrills, humor and romance,

The scenes between Barry and Felicity were entertaining.

And Wentworth Miller did a splendid job as Leonard/ Captain Cold. It was an absolute delight to watch him on screen again. Hoping to see a lot more episodes with him on the show.

The Flash has been quite enjoyable so far. And now it's something for me to look forward to every Tuesday night.

A COOL use of 40 minutes

Being one of the earlier episodes of The Flash this episode is nothing short of amazing. The acting from Wentworth Miller is great. Even the action sequences are awesome. These were the glory days of Flash.

    "Cool" villain makes the difference

Sets the metahuman freak of the week thing aside (for one week at least) in favor of a more conventional villain. Well, a more conventional comic book villain. I doubt there are many bad guys with a freeze ray in the real world. Though his backstory and personality are much different, Captain Cold is basically Mr. Freeze. Though they could've done a bit better with his set up, once he gets rolling he's easily the best baddie yet. A lot of the credit goes to guest star Wentworth Miller ('Prison Break') who brings an icy menace and a little star power to boot.

What's impressive about The 'Flash' so far is that it finds time for character development and relationship building amongst the action and carnage. Even the supporting players all get a little bit of dramatic gristle to chew on. With the dramatic, non-action focus on the romantic side this week, "Going Rogue" may lack the emotional punch of, say, the second episode, but with some fun action moments and a credible villain (who lives to fight another day), it definitely delivers strictly in terms of entertainment.

    Best one. Yet

Going Rogue was undoubtedly the best episode in the series, so far.

    RAVES

+ We got to see various sides of Barry, in this episode. Grant Gustin, does a good job of switching from a playful to serious to romantic side.

+ Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/ Captain Cold. This was one character I was looking forward to seeing, the most. I haven't seen much of Millers work, but I thought he did complete justice to the role. He was great as the antagonist. It's going to be interesting to see how things progress between Flash and Cold

    + Barry & Felicity.

+ The Director and Cinematographer have done a wonderful job, in this episode. All the visuals were quite a treat and the action sequences were highly entertaining

Nothing really. This episode was really good.

    And thus deserves a 10/10.

    I Love This Universe

What's really great about Arrow and The Flash is that just like on nights like this, characters can cross over to the other show and it wont feel out of place. And I'm glad that these shows aren't sharing a universe with the films. It would significantly limit the shows power of storytelling which is what Arrow and The Flash are best at. Onto tonight's show, Felicity was the major highlight and brought out the best in each of the main characters.

We all love Felicity from Arrow along with the quirkiness that comes with her, and to see her once again connect with Barry was great. I love that she still had a significant amount of sexual innuendos just as she does with Oliver. I also completely buy into them both being friend zoned by Iris and Oliver and acknowledging how right they are for each other. Their kiss at the end was bittersweet but may be all we get with them for quite awhile.

Captain Cold was a welcome addition to Flash' rogues gallery, and although I don't know how fond I am of the actor playing him, I know there will be more to come from his character. The West family side story was forgettable especially considering how predictable it was, but in the long run it was necessary. I'm still not sold on Eddie Thawne being reverse flash but they are doing a good job of making us believe he's a good guy before pulling the classic CW bait and switch.

Back at STAR labs Cisco is haunted by the fact that he was the reason for Captain Cold's gun being stolen. If was the first glimpse into how menacing Wells can be to Cisco and Caitlyn and also into Barry failing to save a life for the first time. It was just another great thing that this episode had to offer. The character development has significantly improved over just the course of 4 episodes.

When Detective West reads out Leonard Snart's name from the mugshot book, Barry says "Leonard? That's almost as bad as Bartholomew." Bartholomew is Barry's full first name.
    • Goofs
Barry says that e=mc2 is Einstein's formula for kinetic energy. This is incorrect. It is the formula for mass energy equivalence.
    • Quotes

Iris West: Are you still gonna tell me that she's not into you? Look at that dress! And when I asked her the boyfriend question, she froze.

Barry Allen: Yeah, you were particularly sly with that one.
