    God awful film....

Disregard Doug Stephenson's review...he must have obviously been reviewing another film. The actual film is full of elementary/high school level cheesy dialogue, horrendous acting and virtually no scary scenes.

Avoid this at ALL costs. Except if you are forced to watch because you are a critic and you absolutely HAVE to review it or else you would lose your job or if someone dares you to (if I were you I would willingly lose the bet...)

As for me, let's just say I unwillingly gave up 90 minutes so you don't have to.

Ominous with a few redeeming factors

The reviews are quite spot on here. It 'is' quite dire but it is also quite funny too. The acting is unfortunate. Really bad mostly. I'd say the only redeeming factor is the scenery & music. It's not bad. It does have a electronic 80s vibe, as someone mentioned in the reviews- Giorgio Moroder/John Carpenter, it does! I thought of Georgio Moroder, more basic version. I managed to watch it all the way through somehow because Gerald is quite likable & just to know what happens in the end.

Rather Excellent Comedy Horror Spoof - For Anyone With A Childish Sense Of Humour!

I havent seen my brother laugh so loud for a long time at the toilet wheelchair pissing scene.

It was very original and almost like Richard Pryor had returned if he had it would have been his scene.

Some gore , more childish laughs than you can shake a stick at; a very unusual spoof comedy remix indeed. Mad John Carpenter/Giorgio Moroder Style 80'S music at the most inappropriate times but it makes it funnier!

We have the usual protagonists - The boring guy, the overconfident playboy type guy, the fat unpopular guy and the black disabled guy - what couldn't work - I am sure you have some of those in your circle of friends at school!

It breaks a few moulds and more... With lines like:- "Some hot babes waitin for a stud like me!" "$300....its like a slave shack!" "Thats 2 ass whoopins in one day" "Its always the black guy that dies first" "It just needs a little lube , you know I always carry a bit of that with me!" "We are 2000 miles away from town, not even the Jehovahs witnesses could find us out here!" The snapper turtle biting Jimmy's knob - I laughed so hard i think I nearly crapped myself!

C'mon how can any of the reviewers say it wasnt funny - they must have had their sense of humour operation successfully performed. It is very, very juvenile but that is part of its charm. If you still have as bit of the kid in you , you will appreciate it like I and my brother did!

Little homages like the piggy scene from Deliverance lol Its a spoof and it works well if you have a sense of humour!!! The scene of "death by bag of oranges" - Priceless - I did crap myself at that scene!

It actually reminds me of some of my pals - 40 year old guys acting like teenagers - very funny. Contrary to what others say I thought the acting was actually not bad at all especially Glenn Harston the wheelchair bound Richard Pryor clone and Jim Plovanich the would be Playboy - certainly better than movies like Pacific Rim II for sure - John Boyega roflmao!

I am also basing my review on the fact these guys put this together with only $20,000. Superb!!!

Cant wait to see Stephen Folkers other movies if this is anything to judge by!

    this is my favorite movie

Ive seen it like 5 times at this point. Its a little offensive at times but whatever. Some parts are really funny, like when reggie peed all over his pal, i mean yeah its dumb and cheesy but whatever dude no thought is original.

You should definitely watch it, if not for the comedy then for peter watkins. Hes the best character in any movie ever.

The Orange Man is a fascinating motion picture That makes you wonder what would you do at your breaking point.

The Orange Man I believe Is Stephen Folker's Best Movie yet. Insanely engaging. The Casting was perfect and they personified their characters with energy and proficiency. The characters are beautifully written and so vividly captures individual lifestyles and personal tragedies.Dave Juehring absolutely shines as a man who's life seems to have hit a low point. All you want to do is hug him, love him, after his rejections from his own wife.Ben Rollins portrayal Of the Orange is out standing making you think. WTF is wrong with him ,Thomas Ely Sage,Glenn Harston and Jim Plovanich are not to be forgotten in their portrayal of different type of friends. The scenes between them all are amongst the best in the movie. There was not one actor who did not live up to the great expectations.Beautifully shot, exceptionally well- acted...a truly great movie
