    Hilarious!

From the trailer it seemed like this one's gonna be a hit n a miss. I said to myself "Our guys trying to pull of a Hera Pheri or a Delhi Belly..heck.. I want to check it out on Eid"

As opposed to O21 which appeared another one of those covert op films(which I am definitely going to see later) did not appeal me.. I am glad I chose Na Maloom Afraad. It is not just the title but it is the crux of the film around which it revolves throughout. People thinking of it as Hera Pheri or Delhi Belly(myself included initially) are correct about three individuals stricken with financial crises but that is where the similarities end.

Director Nabeel Qureshi is the kind of the guy who knows what he's doing. If you have seen his short films starring the BNN guys or previously the 4 Man team, u know what I'm talking about. If u find them funny u have seen nothing yet. NMA will make u burst with laughs and mind you there's no stopping them.

Mohsan Abbas Haider is the real star here.. he steals every scene he's in (remember that guy playing Bhagat Sing who used to roam around the Republic in a yellow van). Fahad Mustafa's comic timing is perfect as well whilst Javed Shaikh is the veteran here but I find nothing exceptional about his character, & that's just me..

Salman Shahid reprises his role as the bad guy from the movie Ishqiya. Mehwish Hayat is ur Mahnoor Baloch in NMA and her smoking item no., though out of place, is a feast for eyes. All in all NMA delivers what it promises without a single dull moment in its entire run time.

On the technical side, the film is one to marvel at. From the production value to the film's music to its shots of Karachi are all well handled. The end is passable and possibly the only flaw if felt in the movie which restricts me from rating it a 10 on 10. Btw I am being fair when I rate it a 9.

So.. watch this one, particularly Karachiites as they could relate more with this city's violent history and lawlessness that has engulfed its inhabitants.. Oh and having said dat keep an eye out for the interesting cameos from some of the familiar faces of TV. Hum Network.. hats off for this entertainer!!

Pakistans lame attempt to copy Hera Pheri

No words. I mean beyond idiotic. I know these people steal and copy western scripts but this is overwhelmingly obvious Here in this movie. Everything is predictable. They try to make a masterpiece plan which only becomes more confusing and more idiotic. I really don't know rust going on. Even s comedy movie has its base on something tangible something real but nope not here. I challenge any non pakistani cinema affecianado o watch this crap and tell me it aint bad. It looks bad for the entire country if they are celebrating this garbage as a comedy hit. Talk about low standards and getting lucky.

    Pakistan's first super hit comedy

I love this movie, it's entirely made in Pakistan and 100% reflects the Pakistani culture. Also the first Pakistani movie entirely shot with Arri Alexa. cinematography is superb. each and every scene is hilarious. The legend actor Javed Sheikh's performance is amazing. and Fahad Mustafa and Mohsin Abbas have also done a great justice to their rolls. I like the cute romance between Farhan and Naina. I really enjoyed the movie and I would suggest everyone to watch this movie at lease once than decide if it's worth watching again or not, but i am sure you will forget all other boring action movies. The director Nabeel Qureshi, Producer Fizza Ali Meerza, the Actor Fahad Mustafa and Mohsin Abbas reminds me of the Sam Raimi's debut film The Evil Dead which was released in 1981, and they were promoting their movie exactly the same way. There is so much similarity between those young boys and our these young Pakistani's. I wish them all luck and hope that they will be successful in the every next movie they would make.

one the best efforts of modern films of Pakistan

I've watched this movie twice and no doubt this is one the best efforts Pakistani movie makers have made. When you have short budget and limited tech, it is hard to compete with international standards but this movie has crossed those limits and is indeed far better than many of Bollywood movies. All of the actors has performed very well but performance of Javed Sheikh is outstanding. Fahad Mustafa has done also very well and did justice to his role and proved he is capable to handle lead roles.

Two things could have been more better, 1. thrills, there a lot of moments where it could have been more thrillers. 2. Using extras in scene, there are some moments, where common public notices the camera and actors.
