Great presentation and amazing work done in the Israel, Thailand, Belgium and Nagaland, India series. This is by far our most favorite channel along with Discovery. The cinematograph and 4k content is so stunning and awe inspiring. It ignites our passion for travel every-time we watch it See More - Explore More.
Great presentation and inspiring travel content ! Love the way even lesser known places are explored with the help of locals and not just the famous over done big cities. Good overall showcase and camerawork.
We watch this show everyday. Its refreshing to see other countries and learn about its history, people, culture and cuisine. As parents its hard to find channels that are safe for our children. With all kinds of sleazy tv shows and movies we are really walking on egg shells as to what our kids are exposed to. Thanks to channels like HistoryTV, TravelXP and Discovery we have few good options. Our children are also big fans of the show and their willingness to learn more about various countries and their spoken languages has definitely left us parents happy. What else can we ask for...
This is our favorite channel. My wife and I cant get enough of it. Whether we are cooking or playing with our kids, this channel is always on. This has left our children asking more questions and deepening their curiosity of history and various cuisines. It is much better than most T.V series with unnecessary drama and negativity. The picturesque landscapes, soothing music and deep dive into landmarks and exotic- lesser known regions around the world, leave us wanting to know more. All the hosts are amazing especially Elisha Kriis, Rohan Patoley, and Alex Outhwaite. All are doing a marvelous job at explaining the history, culture and rich heritage of countries around the World.Thank you TravelXP for bringing the World to out living rooms. Please don't ever stop. We love it.
There are a ridiculous number of issues with this show it's difficult to come to terms with the fact that this is professionally produced.
The show states facts about the destination and does little more. The host of the show and videos of her travel take far too much air time with little demonstration of her interaction with her environment. There is so much time wasted showing her speaking robotically in a shots that flatter her but do little justice to the beautiful locations she is at.
The host of the show, Elisha Kriis, speaks off every line like she were reading a script in a museum, except with much less wonder. Furthermore she harps on and on about trivial things (a good 5 minutes was spent showing her holding a small arms-length crocodile, and later revisiting it as she narrates her experience AGAIN). Her speech, although clear, is robotic and the way she interacts with other people, such as tour guides, sounds almost disingenuous.
The videography is absolutely horrendous. Film angles show only vast overviews of the locations and otherwise change between different angles of her face, none of which anyone needs or would expect in a travel show.
The synchronisation of her speech and the video is so mismatched it is literally annoying.
This show is essentially a montage of vlogs without demonstrating enough of the location, nor the host (assuming you were watching for her, whom I understand to be a big name celebrity). I have never in the past believed that travel documentaries could be messed up to such an extent. I have been proven wrong. Do not waste your time on this show.
