A PAW Patrol Christmas

Firstly, anyone rating this poorly as a "movie" and complaining about it being on par with the show really didn't know what they were going to see.

This is NOT a movie, nor is it advertised as one. This is the next 40-minute special in the series (like the previous Mighty Pups, Jet to the Rescue, and Tracker Valiente ones) but has been released into cinemas along with last year's JR Patroller episode.

This was perfect for taking our Paw Patrol-obsessed sons (5 and 3) to their first cinema experience. And it was just the right length before they got restless.

I actually felt this special felt more cinematic than the show, with a couple of catchy Christmas songs.

We definitely all left feeling Christmassy.

This was on par with other regular Paw Patrol episodes, not like the feature length movie they have previously released. You can even see where they have the cuts for commercial breaks. Not a bad "movie", but nothing special. When we see it in the theatre, it had one "episode" that was about 40 minutes followed by another that was able 15 minutes.

This "Christmas special" isn't so special. Very standard run of the mill paw patrol episode, not worth changing your plans for. If your kids want to watch a Christmas themed episode, go for it. But there are 100 better actual Christmas movies out there. This was extremely basic and boring, I can't even give it an average rating.
