Someone obviously watched a lot of "curb your enthusiasm"....problem is, when you are not a comedic genius & try to give your show some "street cred" with live cutaways to your stand up...which is as observational and funny as a new comic anywhere near you... He was cute in Dr Dredd I guess... But when there is a "stalker..and it is about as believable as a stalker for a dancer in a Nickel Back video. .This is comedy garbage..so, my opinion only..clumsy nonsense.
Rob Schneider and his trophy wife Patricia are writing, directing and starring the over-the-top (yet deliberately pretending to be casual) "reality" comedy called "Real Rob".
The situations are impossible (for example Rob forces his assistant to have a ...vasectomy, just to see how he feels, before he does one himself!) in an effort to parody the life of Hollywood celebrities and the special treatment they usually get.
It is funny, but sometimes it crosses the line to absurd and ridiculous.
It has a bright photography (that I like) and good rhythm but because of the single camera setup, there are countless continuity errors that might become distractive. Just saw the 5th episode and his assistant is talking to Rob's wife wearing a hat, sunglasses and a ...fake mustache and in every cut he is wearing a completely different combination of them! (Yet someone might find funny these goofs and laugh even more.) The 1st season consists of only 8 episodes. Hopefully it might get a 2nd season although there is a possibility to become repetitive.
Overall: Silly yet funny. I'll keep watching...

Rob Schneider financed the first series and his mates played their parts for free. He then fired his agent who said he was nuts, but he should have listened. This is just not funny... or entertaining.
Schneider was recently interviewed on Howard Stern. He and his wife came across very well, so I thought I'd give their show a shot. Netflix paid him off for the series he made then financed the second series... but God knows who is doing the green-lighting over there because they need to be versed on what comedy is.
It's about as self-indulgent and as preposterous as you can get. The script is drab and the plots are derivative and unoriginal.
I just can't imagine that anyone is sitting down to this and laughing or being in any way entertained. As far as I can see it's simply Rob marching from scene to scene, being a dick and annoying people to provoke some kind of comedic value where none exists.
Rob and his wife seem like nice people and he's a talented actor. This won't be remembered for anything of value, sorry.

Very poor ,its like child play ,from an experienced actor we will expect something more ,most of it is not even funny .i do not recomend it to anyone .thats what I think after 2 episodes .
I never really liked Rob's kind of humour before,
With quarantine ran out of stuff to watch on Netflix....
Then I found this.
Patricia Azarcoya Schneider Is a hidden jem! Not just beautiful but an amazing comedic actor, why have we not seen more of her??
Rob Schneider is a great supporting actor in this but Patricia is the real star of this show, would have been better to see more scenes of her.
Patricia Azarcoya Schneider Please make more series or movies🙏
