Movie is below average by itself but putting AI generated anything makes it a 0/10 for me. There's literally no need to do this. It was completely distracting and made watching the movie far less enjoyable. Stop replacing real artists! If this trend continues it will ruin movies and no one except bots will watch the stuff that bots are making.
I love watching holiday movies but the makeup on the cast was a bit distracting to me. Bianca had makeup on her hair, two of the other women looked as if makeup was plastered on, and Holly's makeup was a shade or so off from her neck. Cute movie nonetheless. I wasn't too familiar with the cast but they did a good job.
Holly James, (Laura Vandervoort) a passionate wanting to be glassblower artist, secretly displays her own art at the Fern Grove Christmas Market under a pseudonym VERRE, while also assisting a legendary glassblower, Bianca Bonhomme, (Jennifer Wigmore). A collegue of Holly, Jack Dubois (Stephen Huszar) has been put in charge of the Fern Grove Christmas Market by his father and they must have a successful season or they will be forced to close the Market permanently and sell the property. Things start to get complicated because Holly's piece's under the name VERRE are the hit of the Christmas Market and sell out as soon as new stock is brought in. Everyone wants to know who this mysterious vendor, Verre, is; but a conflict of interest develops since Holly is Bianca's Assistant, and Bianca is outraged by this upstart new artist whose pieces are outselling Bianca's. An art critic is also looking for VERRE too!
I really enjoyed Laura Vandervoort, and would like to see her in other Hallmark movies. I think Stephen Huszar was miscast as Jack, there was no real chemistry between the two leads and actually very little romance. There was a scene where he sees Holly all dressed up for an event, and he was supposed to be stunned by her beauty, but his reaction came across as insincere and a bit hammy and exaggerated! He just seemed wooden and not very engaging throughout the movie.
This movie was very slow-placed, and so very very predictable, even more so than the usual Hallmark movie. Not a very entertaining movie.

The character Holly's name for her company was Verre. Each time I heard it I thought it should have been called Le Verre in keeping with the French name for glass. The one word Verre felt flat each time it was said. Calling it Le Verre would have been a more classier name in my opinion. The movie was enjoyable for a Sunday evening.
For starters the soundtrack is overpowering at times.
The flow seems uneven. The humor is based on missteps and misunderstandings.
Stephen Huszar's Jack is unnaturally awkward. The relationship with Laura Vandervort's Holly is stiff. Any romance between them is barely justified by the story.
I thought Vandervoort does a nice job of the timid assistant in a confusing situation.
Much of the movie is about Holly and Bianca. Holly is supposed to be the student, but she is trying to build up Bianca.
Like so many movies of this type, there is a secret held by one of the leads. The secret has the potential to create big problems for Holly.
I liked the way the writers turned things around for all involved. I didn't see it coming.
