Daaang... there's no way I'm trying the Mickey Mouse Challenge after watching this. This horror short perfectly illustrates why you should steer clear of these kinds of internet dares. We all love Mickey Mouse, but this steamboat captain is nothing like the friendly character we're used to. In fact, he couldn't be more different.

Building suspense and tension in a short film that runs just a few minutes is tough. That's why many horror shorts rely on jump scares-but not this one. Impressively, it spends most of its three-minute runtime building genuine suspense without resorting to cheap thrills. Nicely done!
