Louisa Connolly-Burnham in Time Will Tell (2018)
Rebellious teenager Kim Temple (Louisa Connally-Burnham) has a troublesome affliction: in stressful situations she loses consciousness and during these so-called sleeping fits she can travel through her own past.

During one of these episodes, she witnesses a disturbing moment in the past involving the man she fears so deeply, namely her father. Kim realises that if she can uncover the truth about the unsettling event, she might be able to keep her father locked up in prison.

But in order to achieve this, Kim must force herself into increasingly dangerous situations, as this is the only way to enter a sleeping fit. On top of this, each journey to Kims past has a negative impact on her health.

Can she reveal the truth before her quest kills her?

    B rated movie

The production is not very good. The sound is pathetically off. Since the music is mostly louder than the words it would be nice if they included closed-captioned. I was unable to turn on closed captioning. Through a great deal of movie I was not entirely sure what they were doing. The movie lacked cohesiveness. The ending is left rather open. You are just supposed to assume a lot.

That was just brutal, bad is an understatement!

Wow, you know any high ratings for this are as phoney as a $3 bill. This movie stunk worse than a high school production. The most interesting parts were the opening and closing credits. Everything else was a jumbled mess with pointless scenes and people. Should have burned the script for this and collected the insurance.

Thoughtful, poignant mystery that flirts with time travel

This is a solid movie with good acting, a sensitive subject matter treated with compassion, and a suspenseful mystery that keeps you engaged. There were bits of it that seemed slow, but it seemed to unravel at about the correct pace, and the slowness might have been me just being impatient scenes in the main character's current life because I wanted to know more about her forays into the past.

As far as the "travelling" goes, I can see how it can be interpreted many ways, so I leave that to the viewer. If you are interested in time travel as a scientific phenomenon, then this isn't for you, but if you enjoy movies that use it to explore the ramifications of choices and grief, loss, hope, etc. this one is well done. I thought it was presented very well, with a lot of distorted angles, and haunting effects to remind you that something spooky is going on.

The ending changes things, which might throw some people off, but I thought it felt right, and poignant. Probably an 8 rating for most folks who enjoy these types of films, but it pushed all my buttons and made me cry, so I had to give it a 10. Thank you Amazon Prime for exposing me to movies like this!

    Very enjoyable time travel movie

I love time travel stories. This movie has a different way of time traveling than other movies. It starts off slow, but the second half kept me on the edge of my seat.
