    Good Weekend Watch

Ditch please (2014) is a 36 min independent movie by GSK which, at the face of it, hinges on the turmoils of the heart between Gagan Shiv Kumar (Kafeel Jafri) and Karishma Gupta (Prachi Jain Raman).

The movie sets a good pace from the moment Gagan takes off his shades and it continues to keep us engrossed. The locations are earnest and they help maintain the tone as the story unfolds. The script doesn't fall short and seamlessly goes from one scene to the next. The actors have diligently tried to get into the skin and have been successful. The soundtrack grows on you and anyone would love to listen while driving...oops, I mean riding.

The movie would connect with many people on a personal level. It aims to extract sympathy, laughter and a raised eyebrow at times; But it is Gagan who takes all our positive emotions. Like many Bollywood protagonists, Gagan is portrayed without imperfections, to the point that one would wonder why was he ever in a relationship with Karishma, who seems to have noteworthy limitations. GSK seems to have a fair understanding of human nature that can be seen in dialogues but lacks a little in characterization. GSK has done a better job of directing than acting. His response to repugnant verbal abuse is appallingly mellow. And finally the audience are left to crave for more picturesque backgrounds.

But one cannot deny the fact that GSK has matured as a director and we can look forward to more of his work.

    Awesome short film!!!

Awesome story line, great music, entertaining dialog. Overall an awesome short film. It keeps the audience engaged till the end. Locations and music add greatly to the film. I loved the music and background score. Some of the dialog are really humorous and witty. Actors were superb and the direction makes them look so natural. Everything about this movie is original. Kudos to the entire cast and crew. Ending of the movie was a bit difficult digest since the Hero seemed to be so much in love with her. That is an unexpected but good ending. I was sad at the end of the film that it ended so soon. Awaiting for a longer movie this time Gowtham.

    a very cute love story

In the midst of action packed no-logic stories where female actors are just there as a commodity or for entertainment, here is a very nice short, cute love story, which actually deals with the relationship of two people, a couple.

The dialogues are crisp and will surely bring smiles on the viewers' face frequently throughout the movie.

There is suspense, emotion, adventure, like any typical Indian movie, yet has everything so subtle that it never goes over the top.

The music has to be applauded for its aptness and its soothing experience. You will never feel that the song is just another break between the story.

Twists and turns are subtle, yet will grip the viewer throughout. However, at some places, one might feel the need of crispier performance by the actors.

Other tech aspects like direction, cinematography, location, etc are really good, and it wont ever come between the story and the viewer.

Its a cute movie which will surely refresh one's mind after watching.

    Awesome flick

firstly story is good, it connected to many people mainly to me as it has many true points, like helping a girl without second thought (she may b ex). how girl and guy behave after breakup, and how how they hide their love and show ego , and so many small elements were noticed by director and captured excellently, timing of dislodges was very good.nice screenplay without missing the continuity,i loved the song , and no need to describe the usage of beast(avenger) , bike added extra beauty fr movie. even now i am laughing for the 2 lies joke that Maggie cant be done in 2 min and girl saying i am not like other girls..

over all a good entertainer :)

    good work

    Nice movie. Good direction work.

It would have been better if more details were provided for the protagonist.

    Sound track is also good.

    Super liked the dialogue

"Duniya ke sabse bade do jhoot

    1. Maggie in 2 mins 2. Gal saying c is nt lyk others"

I will say a nice short movie to watch. Not a part where u will get bored that's the best part.

The bike part is also nice on the way to shimoga.
