While Les Profs 2 does show some signs of improvement over its predecessor, it still struggles to rise above mediocrity. This time, the "worst teachers in France" are sent to England on a new mission, bringing with them the same chaotic energy, exaggerated quirks, and slapstick-heavy humor. The international twist offers slightly fresher material, but it doesn't go far enough to reinvent the formula.

The film's biggest strength lies in its pacing and slightly more structured plot. Compared to the first film, there's at least some attempt to tie the gags together with a throughline. The humor, while still relying heavily on over-the-top antics and caricatures, occasionally hits the mark better, though those moments remain scattered.

Kev Adams tones it down just enough to be less exhausting, and some of the supporting characters get more room to breathe. There's also a bit more variety in the visual jokes, helped by the change of scenery. However, the script remains shallow, with little character development, and the jokes often feel recycled or aimed at a much younger audience.

Les Profs 2 is louder, brighter, and slightly tighter, but it still leans too hard on tired stereotypes and exaggerated nonsense. It's an improvement, but not enough to truly recommend.
