    Argentina at its best.

Viudas Negras is a fantastic series that masterfully blends dark humor, popular myths, and a uniquely Argentine sensibility. The writing is sharp, the situations often absurd in the best possible way, and the humor ranges from subtle to laugh-out-loud hilarious.

What really stands out is how deeply rooted the show is in Argentine culture - not just in its settings or slang, but in its references, legends, and social commentary. It brings urban myths to life while making them feel both ridiculous and oddly believable.

Fans of the cult classic Cualca will be delighted to see much of its brilliant cast returning here. Their chemistry is still impeccable, and their comedic timing continues to be top-notch.

A must-watch if you're into surreal humor, clever storytelling, and a proudly local voice that doesn't take itself too seriously.

    Funny and relevant

Black Widows, the newly released Argentine series, is an absolute delight from start to finish. It's funny, smart, and strikingly current. The story feels grounded in today's world while managing to be wildly entertaining at the same time. The script is witty and full of brilliant references that reward an attentive viewer, blending humor with clever nods to both pop culture and classic scam tropes. One of the most impressive aspects is how it combines traditional and modern forms of scamming in a way that feels fresh and original. And above all, it's very, very funny. The cast is phenomenal! Each actor brings so much charm, personality, and perfect comedic timing to their role. This series is creative, bold, and incredibly fun to watch. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys clever dark comedies with heart and style.

A Bold, Hilarious, and Brilliantly Acted Feminist Heist Comedy

Viudas Negras: Ptas y Chorras* is a wild, razor-sharp ride through crime, chaos, and female friendship - and it's one of the most refreshing, clever, and unapologetically feminist pieces of entertainment to come out of Latin America in years.

But what truly elevates this series to must-watch status are the magnetic performances by Malena Pichot and Pilar Gamboa.

Pichot delivers a masterclass in dry, subversive comedy. Her timing is impeccable, her expressions priceless, and she infuses her character with equal parts fury and wit. She's both a force of nature and a mirror to every woman who's ever had enough.

Gamboa, on the other hand, is simply electric. She brings a chaotic brilliance to every scene, effortlessly switching between hilarity and heartbreak. Her presence is commanding, her delivery surgical, and together with Pichot, they form a duo that's impossible to look away from.

The show is more than just laughs - it's a sharp critique of the patriarchy, capitalism, and performative politics. But it never loses its rhythm or sense of fun.

This is not just a series, it's a statement. And it's one hell of a ride.

Haters Gonna Hate, But This Show Delivers

The series is great, really funny. I started watching it without much expectation, and it gradually hooked me. It's packed with great characters and excellent performances-especially from the two lead actresses, as well as Julián Lucero and Marina Bellati. Unfortunately, it will receive hate from a certain part of Argentine society because Malena Pichot-lead actress, writer, and creator-has always been very vocal about her political views, which shouldn't be a problem. Yet many people with opposing ideologies won't be able to separate the art from the artist and will throw hate just because she's in the series. That's unfair, because for those of us who enjoy comedy, the show is brilliant in every way. Go watch it!
