A Chance Meeting

Hobo is a scruffy-looking farm dog. One day on his rambles, he meets Pom Pom, an elegant poodle who's in the countryside on a picnic. They hit it right off.

Pinto Colvig wrote and voiced Hobo (using the same voice he used for Goofy) and Pom Pom used the vocal talents of Adriana Caselotti, who's remembered for voicing Snow White in the Disney feature cartoon. It's actually fairly charming, and if the copy I looked at was in pretty poor shape, hints of the color photography still show up, particularly in the sunset ending.
