In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, actor Patralekhaa opened up about the scrutiny she faces regarding her personal life, especially the persistent rumors about her expecting a baby with her husband, actor Rajkummar Rao. Patralekhaa candidly shared that these rumors, often sparked by instances of bloating, initially bothered her.
She expressed her frustration, explaining that there have been times when people assumed she was pregnant simply because of natural bodily changes, like bloating. “How many times has it happened that I was having bloating, but people feel that I am pregnant. Now who will explain to those people that there are some days in the month when one does not feel good,” she said.
Over time, Patralekhaa has learned to cope with these intrusive speculations by choosing not to engage with online comments. She now focuses on feeling confident in her own skin and no longer lets such rumors affect her.

Eminent filmmaker Ananth Narayan Mahadevan is in post-production on “Phule,” about the pioneers of women’s education in India.
Jyotirao Govindrao Phule and his wife Savitribai were social reformers known for their efforts against India’s endemic caste system. Phule’s first school for girls was founded in Pune, western India, in 1848. In 1873, Jyotirao Phule and his followers began the Satyashodhak Samaj (Truth-seekers’ Society) to campaign for increased rights for the underprivileged. In 1888, the honorific Mahatma (great soul), a term later used to describe Gandhi, was accorded to Phule.
“The two of them are lethal, the husband and wife, because at a time when the girl child was being refused education and just pushed into marriage, Jyotirao chose to actually educate his little wife – she was just 11 at that time, he was 17 when they got married, because it was the time of child marriage,” Mahadevan told Variety.

National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta is all praise for actor Rajkummar Rao, with whom he has often collaborated. Mehta says the success of the actor makes him feel like a happy parent.
Rajkummar made his acting debut in 2010 "Love Sex Aur Dhokha". But it was through Mehta's film "Shahid" in 2013 that he gained recognition. The actor again collaborated with the filmmaker with projects such as "CityLights", "Aligarh", "Bose: Dead/Alive", "Omerta" and the recent digitally released film "Chhalaang".
Talking about Rajkummar's evolution as an actor, Mehta said, "The beauty is Rajkummar has never lost his humility and generosity that he always had as an actor. He has remained that same person. What has changed is that Rajkummar has become really popular."
The quinquagenarian reminisced about how he and the actor would walk freely on the street and shoot "guerilla style" on the roads in the past.
"Now that is not possible.

There is a basic challenge that Hansal Mehta throws, while narrating the story of Big Bull Harshad Mehta. Instead of letting his story unfold through the mind games of his protagonist, which would have made the series lucid and enjoyable for all, he often tends to immerse the narrative in a mire of heavy stock market lingo and logistics.

Perhaps Hansal Mehta was deliberately being uncompromising, to underline the fact that his 10-part web series is a rare Bollywood effort that truly tick-marks all criteria of the genre that Hollywood defines as the financial thriller. Yet, from Wall Street to Margin Call to Equity to The Wolf Of Wall Street -- you could even include Money Monster by a stretch -- we have seen enough instances where crime drama woven around money does not necessarily let money...

From the very first screening of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider starring Shahid Kapoor, the reviews have been absolute raves. Actors and directors took to social media to praise the film and the performances of the cast. One director, Hansal Mehta director of the powerful Shaid and City Lights , was so moved by the film that he penned an open letter to the director and we had to share!

Subject : Your Chutzpah.
My dear Vishal,
Firstly, thank you for inviting me to watch Haider last night. Thank you for thinking of me. Let me tell you that you robbed me of my sleep last night. Your chutzpah had me awestruck, wondrously grateful and might I sheepishly admit, slightly envious.
Did you really write Haider? Or did you actually paint it? Those paintings of Kashmir and its people refuse to leave me. The characters in your chutzpah – where did they come from?...

Rajkummar Rao is no doubt one of the most in-demand actors in Bollywood today. Yet the 29 year old actor has said that his entry into the film industry was not easy, and it took him almost two years before he finally got his first break. “I struggled for almost two years to get my first break. But I didn’t have to sleep on pavements. I’m really thankful to my family. They supported me throughout my journey.” said Rao in an interview with Filmfare Magazine.
Speaking about how he has been compared to Aamir Khan when it comes to perfectionism, the National Award winning actor had this to say. “I feel honoured and overwhelmed. Although I’m nothing in comparison to Aamir Khan, for me, he’s the school of acting. I get inspired every time I watch him on screen. When people compare me with him, of course I feel happy.
