The shooting took place for over 5 years following the Espla family, including the retirement of Luis Francisco Espla, the father and main celebrity, also his son's Alejandro alternativa or promotion from novillero to matador, and the following steps. In the meantime their family bullring in Alicante was demolished with all the memories and souvenirs that the grandfather Paquito kept inside, and later they built a new arena for bullfight and also celebrations at their country house in Bussot, near Alicante.
