I've played through "Alan Wake 2" twice now (once for the original game experience and once through the "Final Edit" mode) and the portion of the game where this event plays (because it's a part of the story) is so wonderful. From a narrative perspective, it gives information (for those paying attention to the lyrics) about who Alan is and what's been happening with the story. The visuals are fun and funny, making you forget that you need to play the game because you stop to watch what's happening. And finally the music itself is so good! I bought the album SPECIFICALLY for this song (I loved the others on the album, so it was an easy purchase already). Plus: I NEVER saw it coming! How many games do YOU play where characters randomly break out into song and dance?! So awesome. I hope everybody (from the performers to the fans) enjoyed this as much as I did.
