The Door (Qapi)

Last weekend, I decided to watch a film that had been recommended by a few friends. The trailer looked interesting, the cast seemed talented, and the plot appeared to promise an exciting mix of drama and suspense. Unfortunately, after two hours of watching, I realized I had wasted my time.

From the very beginning, the movie struggled to find its pace. The opening scenes were unnecessarily long, filled with meaningless dialogue that didn't contribute to the story. Instead of building tension or developing the characters, the script wandered aimlessly, leaving the audience unsure of where the plot was heading.

The acting, while not terrible, felt uninspired. The lead actor seemed detached from the role, delivering lines without genuine emotion. Supporting characters lacked depth and purpose, appearing only to fill space rather than to advance the narrative. Even the relationships between characters felt forced and artificial.
