    nice creepy short

Its fun to watch what an independent filmmaker can do with a high quality IP - in this case something from stephen king

beautiful landscapes offset the creepiness of the short and in homage to japanese horror this filmmaker does a nice job of blending reality with the incredulousness of otherworld horror.

Dont want to give anything away but by the time we reach the 'horror' part youre really asking yourself - is this real?

Something you would do in the real world which makes it seem all the more real and therefore all the more creepy.

Kudos to the filmmakers nice cinematography nice acting.

Stephen King was meant for Japan

This is honestly one of the better Stephen King adaptations I've seen. A haunting score, fantastic cinematography, and all around solid acting. This was a very clever adaptation that feels like it could have been a Japanese folktale originally. Shout out to the director for weaving all the strong pieces together into a something unique. The source material is such that less filmmakers could have made this schlocky and feel like a B movie. But the atmosphere was set from the beginning in this, and the tension of what's happening lingered until the final image. It made the second viewing that much more enjoyable. This is highly worth your time.
