The Solution to the Problem is Vodka

Of all the Koike directed Lupin specials, this one is my favorite. Each one of the specials has picked one of Lupin's usual gang and focuses on them. This one, as the title implies, focuses on Zenigata. He makes for a natural protagonist, because he has a more rigid moral compass compared to the thieves. I haven't been the biggest fan of the director's interpretation of the property; I prefer a more lighthearted Lupin. But all of them have had some truly great villains, and this one is no exception. Imposter Lupin, with a passion for explosives, is a great foe. With a great hero and a great nemesis, the special delivers on some good Lupin action.
