More than a movie

It is right at the spot. True story, which is there to stay and to happen. So sad we are witnessing fascism in the modern world and even more sad so many people in the world does not understand what Russia did to all of us around the world. So much hope more people will see this movie and understand! The idea to present all the story through a comedy, but supported with brilliant scenario and dialogs. The actors play beautifully. Currently the movie is available only in the Ukrainian cinemas, but soon I hope will run around all the world. Excited and impatient to see it in Europe. I will go to cinema again to see it here.

WTH are you dousing with stereotypes?!

This is terrible. This film insults every conscious Ukrainian from the eastern part of the country. I've been painfully enduring 13 years without my home, and yet Kvartal 95 decided to add even more stereotypes to the image of a "separatist from Donetsk."

Every time filmmakers mock or belittle the people from the occupied territories, they can't even begin to imagine how painful it is to hear about a home now overrun by orcs.

If you think this is a film about changing one's life path - you're partially right. But mostly, the director and screenwriters chose to ridicule the "stupid vatniks."
