    Hallmark time travel 1905

    8.0 stars.

For the many time travel stories Hallmark has embarked upon over the years, this one certainly does NOT disappoint. I was impressed at the different twists on the theme, with several minor details taken from 'Back to the Future' and other various time travel films.

The story is about a woman from 1905 who is transported to 2025 and she is so enraptured by everything in the future, but things from the past are in jeopardy. That is the only spoiler I will provide.

I find this to be quite an endearing love story, because there is palpable chemistry. The lead female is a fairly common sight to see in family romance films the past few years, for good reason. I feel she has improved, this being one of her best so far, (perhaps her very best). She nailed the personality of the lead female. The lead male, a major Hallmark regular, was a good fit, and his rendition of a man who hopelessly falls in love with her, is spot-on. We get acquainted with two supporting actors as well. The "lady boss" is a personable and cute character and I hope she gets a lead role in future Hallmark movies. The male support is animated and fun, albeit a bit flamboyant.

Everything else was excellent, particularly the music and lighting. The cinematography, sets, wardrobe and dialogue were near-perfect. I need not mention the acting, which was sublime. This is a front-runner for best Christmas film of 2025.

    Hats off to Hallmark

This is one of the best Christmas movies that I have seen on Hallmark. Excellent acting and great entertainment. I particularly loved the ending without saying any more about it and create a spoiler alert. Ginna Claire Mason and Wes Brown were superb like always. There was a new girl to Hallmark, Talia Robinson who also did a great job. I hope to see her in more Hallmark movies.

2025's version of Holiday Time Travel :-)

By my count, this was Hallmark's fifth Christmas time travel movie, and was very similar to the one where the magic clock caused a businessman to leap forward in time and become a tour guide in his own home ... but a home he disappeared from decades before.

This movie followed the same storyline, and I'm not sure the ending followed its own logic, but we enjoyed it anyway. We'd certainly recommend watching it, and we'll probably watch it again.

However, similar to Candace Cameron Bure's time traveling nurse, this time a comet was the time-travel mechanism.

The lead actress played the "young Ann Margret;s character in "A Holiday Spectacular" a few years ago.

My Favorite of the Hallmark Xmas Season so far

Ginna's character is awesome in this movie. She sells her character 100%. A strong willed turn of the century women who wants to do more for those less fortunate. She dreams big and learns not only that she will succeed but she also learns that she can fall in love and be loved.

Wes plays a that feels like love has passed him by. And that he may never find love. But in a short time he finds Ginnas character amazing. And soon admits she's amazing. It's not long these two obviously fall for each other.

Talia Robinson in her supporting role is wonderful. She really plays her character in a way so that she comes to life.

I don't want to get into the story as not knowing lets the script unwind naturally. It's well written for a Hallmark movie and one of the better scripts of the 2025 Christmas movie line up. 1 hour:20 minutes of fun.

    Hallmark did good!!

I've watched many Hallmark movies over the past five years, and one thing I've learned is that ratings don't always reflect how personally meaningful a movie can be. This particular film stood out to me. Both main characters delivered strong performances-the male lead, whom I've seen in other roles, brought a refreshing and distinct energy to this character. I truly appreciated seeing this different side of his acting. The female lead was equally convincing and brought real heart to the story.

The time-travel element was handled thoughtfully, and the writing felt both creative and engaging. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys well-crafted fiction. Personally, I'd like to imagine that maybe, just maybe-it isn't fiction after all.

While testing their theory about the comet and time travel, Adam asks Nick the coordinates where his boat was when the time warp occurred, and Nick replies that he was at "forty-one degrees longitude and minus eleven degrees latitude." These "coordinates" make absolutely no sense. Latitude is expressed with a suffix of North or South and longitude with a suffix of West or East, with "minus" having no meaning that makes sense; Newport is 41.49 degrees North and 71.31 degrees West. Even if you assume the northwest quadrant, the coordinates Nick gives would put you in the Atlantic Ocean between West Africa and Brazil and 660 miles north of the Equator. Even disregarding longitude and assuming he meant forty-one degrees latitude, that latitude would be 30 nautical miles offshore from Newport in the open ocean.

[after her father rejects her idea to start a charity, Ella storms out of the office in a huff.]

Ella: [to a servant] My coat, please!

Sadie: How did your father take it?

      Ella: Quite well, I'd say.

Albert: [shouting down the hall] Ella!

Ella: Though the idea might take a bit more time for him to warm up to.
