A film/documentary made during on of the most dramatic moments of Swedish contemporary history during mostly 2022- with topics such as the pandemic, the gang violence, and the new political landscape that we all have to carefully tread upon.
But mostly it is a film about the ordinary people who lives during these large social disruptions. It is a film that doesn't just document people and events, but also let's them speak with their own voices, as they are.
It is truly in that sense a humanistic film, which in my opinion is the truest mark of any good documentary. It is also kind of a therapeutic film, as it has some of the greatest shots I've seen in a documentary with panoramic views from around Sweden from south to north, in conjunction with a great sound track.
And even though the times around 2022 were tough and dramatic even here in Sweden, the film also captures the ordinary joy of just being alive and accepting the world as it is, with all its faults. So if anyone wishes to visit Sweden if only by film, I truly recommend this film!
