    • Trivia
Archived newspapers described this special as a totally amusing, irreverent look at facts and foibles of that part of the Dark Continent which is Kenya and Uganda. Paar, his wife and daughter, let the cameras roam over, as he says in his narration, "the little things that make up the Africa I know." You'll see items that intrigued him, like the road sign which says, "Elephants have the right of way." You'll see some commercials in Swahili, Africans playing checkers, natives watching a TV set in a tree, and animals. At the end of the show, there are some films of Paar in his home with a lion cub he loved more than anything else, he says.
