Whilst marketed as a gay movie with a cool message about loneness for gay men, even if ur good looking, anyone could look at this ambiguous movie and think about why the guy is sad.
It's what makes a good piece of art.

'Home from the Gym' is artful and poetic. There is no dialogue to distract the viewer. If the viewer turns on their imagination and cranks it up, they will create their own personal short film without touching a camera.
The actual camera is always in closeup mode and dives into super closeup in a manner that might allow any of those details to curate your imagination in any of a myriad of ways.
I watched 'Home from the Gym' three times before writing this review. It wasn't like I watched three different shorts but my mind was pulled in different directions; overlapping, and overlapping. Do absorb the details.
It deserves more viewings, more viewer ratings, and more.

A young man returning home from the gym. A beautiful studio apartment. The struggle against clothes. The final tear. Short, a film about nothing at the first sigh. In fact, a challenge to viewer , who could imagine the story. Or who reduced all at the perfect body of actor. Or who discover the bitter poetry of loneliness, a victory, a fall or a break--up. The basic virtue of film is its high generosity to propose precise clues . And the music, location, the pictures of the fight against clothes and the end. A cold film. With a great end.
