Lost in the Woods

I think that this BL series tries to imitate the success of "1000 Stars". If you only see from the visuals, then you can say it has successfully done so. Cause the visuals were amazing and breath taking. Even more than the visuals in "1000 Stars". But if you see from the story telling and the plot, you can't say the same. The same formula (city boy forced to live in a secluded village) didn't feel as deep. Since the boy in this series wasn't actually a bad boy. He didn't found a profound epiphany in the village. He only fell in love with the beauty of nature. There's no deep regret that he gets from living there, unlike in "1000 Stars". Besides, this series is unnecessarily too long. They often make scenes about the view of nature for way too long. No matter how beautiful it was, but it's insignificant with the plot. Besides, if you're talking about the romance, I have to say that I'm deeply disappointed with it. Cause it was underdeveloped until the end. Like a rose that never had the chance to bloom.

Lost in the Woods follows the story of 18-year-old Fifa, who dreams of studying in Japan. But before that happens, his grandma sends him off to work in the woods. There, he meets Hem, a quiet park ranger, and that's where their story begins.

This BL series is definitely a super slow burn. Like, they only start to realize their feelings around episode 5 and there are only 7 episodes total (about 40 minutes each). There's not much actual romance going on. It's more about two guys forming a quiet, emotional bond. They never even confess properly-it's all subtle hints and lingering looks. Most of the story is told from Fifa's point of view, especially how he feels about Hem.

What really stood out to me was the cinematography-it's stunning. The rural setting is absolutely beautiful and really adds to the overall mood. The acting is solid too, and thankfully, there's no cringey or nonsensical dialogue.

As for the chemistry between the leads... it's okay, not amazing. I had mixed feelings overall, some parts were really slow and kind of boring, while others were more engaging.

The ending? It was alright. Not everything tied up the way I hoped. I really wouldn't mind a second season to explore their story more and give it the depth it deserves.

I have no words to describe how good this series is. Not a person who writes reviews but I really wanted for this one.

The story is great, it doesn't drag at all. Everything is on point. Specially acting is amazing.. I could feel the emotions that the actors portrayed. Cinematography of this series is so stunning every scene felt refreshing and soothing. Overall I fell in love with this series and one of the best so far I watched in 2025.

The only thing I have as a complain is that I felt like this is not promoted well and this deserves way more views and love than this. I'm glad and lucky that I found this.

This is one of the most underrated Thai bl. The story, the screen plays everything is just amazing. The story is so fresh, and I still can't believe they made something like this. It is definitely in my favorite list now. One best drama that can be compared to other bl in Japanese and Korea. It's not just s a sitcom and but beautiful story made with so goodness.
