    Who Is This Guy

Truly...who is this guy? I don't understand why he's become a celebrity that is considered strong enough to have his own TV show.

Tiny personality, tiny voice, tiny effect on Australian TV. How the hell can this guy actually be granted his own show. The first episode was considered a flop and yet, he still does his terrible thing. I mean, genuine question:

Is he actually still on just because of contract terms and conditions??

If so, it's such a bad representation of how the channel is run and how the broadcasting is managed. Straight up...how bad Australian TV really is. They let this hack have his own show. Tragic!!!

    I won't lie.

The second instalment was in my opinion harder than the first to bear.

I wanted to end viewing mid way, but was overwhelmed with the necessity of supporting.

The difficulty for me was the format.

It seems over exposed in corporate gig style.

Desperately needing a Sam pang to address himself instead, with the quip of "move it along" A famous line that may help combat this hurdle is, 'You gotta get a gimmick, if you want to get applause'

Idea is a format peppered throughout the show called, 'Pang it on the Board' For those playing at home, who unknown to Sam Pang, is celebrating a birthday in ... and was born in 1999?

I'm a fan of Sam Pang but not this show

After having weeks of endless promos shoved down our throats,I had high expectations for this show. Australia has lacked this format for many years and this was to be our hopeful relaunch.

You can tell 10 is an American company who think US chat show formats will work in Australia but this flopped. It felt over rehearsed and strained. The jokes were predictable and not delivered well. Yes, this was the first episode and there will be problems to resolve and kinks to work out....so let's hope it improves.

And why have Jack Thompson as the first guest? I didn't know he was still alive.

Come on Sam, you can do so much better. Don't try to be like every other US talk show....make it your own.

So much Potential but not quite there yet!

Unfortunately this show is a bit uncomfortable to watch. Becky Lucas and Sam have no chemistry, and unfortunately added unrehearsed jokes and commentary that didn't land.

Sam is way funnier than the writing in this show. His delivery is quite good, but there are still awkward moments where the show seems to have gaps of awkward silence. The Gout joke was hard to watch, even Sam seemed embarrassed telling that one. First two episodes were a bit better with the additions of other comedians, however the guests weren't great.

I hope it picks up as it could be so great, Sam's dry humour is definitely perfect for this format. A few more episodes hopefully it finds its flow.

    Still pretty bad.

Ep 2 last night: same strained, over rehearsed and awkward presentation. Interviews way too long and boring. The self deprecating jokes are becoming tedious. Even the amazing Kitty Flanagan couldn't save it. After the car crash initial episode and well documented feedback we would have thought that the format and content would be revised and stepped up a gear. No such luck. It's weird that the Channel 10 new USA owners think that the tired and dated American talk show format will work in Australia in 2025. It has worked, in the distant past - Rove Live etc. But Sam Pang is a talented occasional guest performer. He is not a talk show host. Pity.
