    poor storyline,under average acting.

The story is totally predictable: a man who left the world of crime is forced to return because his daughter has a serious heart condition and needs money for heart transplant surgery. So of course, he dives back into his criminal past. What a cliché! Even worse, the plot feels lifted directly from the long series Taht Sabe' Ard, where Officer Moussa discovers his siblings are counterfeiting dollars and must choose between letting them face gangs or taking over their illicit operation . Yet here it's stripped of nuance. The writing feels lazy, as if they borrowed the concept but forgot to build real stakes. The acting is painful-cast swings between lifeless, cold delivery and exaggerated, melodramatic overacting. Emotional scenes fall flat, and dialogue lacks substance. There's no chemistry, no real tension, no fresh perspective. Instead of building on the original's moral complexity, the series reduces it to tired tropes. Overall, it's an uninspired retread that fails to honor its source or stand on its own merits.

    Good not bad !

The series is decent, but lacks any unexpected plot twists or unpredictable events. There's nothing that will genuinely surprise or captivate you. It feels repetitive and predictable, which is a major reason it didn't receive high ratings. Even though the actors are skilled and have delivered great performances in other shows, the story here doesn't do justice to their talent. If you're just looking for some simple entertainment to pass the time, it might work, but don't expect anything groundbreaking or original. The lack of depth and fresh ideas really holds it back from being something truly memorable.

    Absolutely Brilliant

A Powerful New Series Anchored by a Career-Defining Performance from Daniella Rahme

Franklin is a bold and refreshing addition to the regional TV landscape, marking a new era of storytelling with its gripping narrative, high production values, and exceptional cast. It's the kind of series that doesn't just entertain-it leaves a lasting impact.

At the heart of Franklin is Yulia, portrayed brilliantly by Daniella Rahme in what can only be described as a career-defining performance. Yulia is a complex, multi-layered character-resilient yet vulnerable, calculating yet deeply human. Through every episode, Daniella masterfully navigates Yulia's emotional landscape, portraying a woman shaped by trauma, driven by survival, and haunted by her past.

What makes Daniella's performance stand out is her ability to express so much with subtlety. Her eyes tell stories her dialogue doesn't. Her silences carry weight. She brings Yulia to life with a deep emotional intelligence, making the character not only believable but unforgettable. This role demands range-and Daniella delivers, moving between moments of strength, fear, passion, and pain with striking authenticity.

Supporting her is an impressive cast that complements and elevates the series. Mohamad Al Ahmad commands attention with a stoic intensity that anchors the drama. Tony Issa brings charisma and emotional depth to his role, while Youssef Haddad offers a grounded and sincere presence that adds balance to the ensemble. The supporting cast is equally commendable-each performance thoughtfully cast, each character contributing to the intricately woven plot.

The script is sharp, intelligent, and brave. It tackles heavy themes without sensationalism, instead focusing on real human conflict and emotional complexity. The direction is equally sophisticated, with a clear vision and a cinematic approach that brings tension and emotion to every scene. The visuals are stunning-every frame is carefully crafted, capturing both the gritty realism of the world and the quiet beauty in its most intimate moments.

Franklin is more than just a new series-it's a landmark. It sets a new standard for what regional drama can achieve. And at the center of it all is Daniella Rahme as Yulia-a performance that will be remembered for years to come.

    Storyline

The idea of Franklin is taken from the core idea of Taht Sabe' Arad and turned it into a shorter version, even using names that closely resemble those in the original story. While the new series is impressive and proudly a Lebanese production, plagiarism should never be seen as an accomplishment.

Taht Sabe' Arad was a brilliant show-authentic, witty, and refreshingly real. Unfortunately, it was underrated and didn't get the attention it deserved during Ramadan. Some viewers overlooked it simply because it featured Syrian actors and was perceived as a Syrian production. That's disappointing, especially since we should celebrate quality Arab work regardless of nationality.

    Amazingly good

A Captivating Experience: "Franklin" on Netflix Starring Daniella Rahme and Mohamad El Ahmad

Netflix's original series Franklin is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys gripping drama, intense storytelling, and standout performances. The show, starring the talented Daniella Rahme and Mohamad El Ahmad, effortlessly brings viewers into a world full of suspense, emotions, and life-changing decisions. From start to finish, Franklin offers an engaging, thought-provoking experience, one that has solidified itself as a standout in the streaming platform's expansive library.

The first thing that strikes you about Franklin is the chemistry between the lead actors, Daniella Rahme and Mohamad El Ahmad. Daniella's performance is both powerful and vulnerable, capturing the complexities of her character with precision. She portrays her role with a balance of strength and fragility, making it impossible not to empathize with her journey. Daniella brings an undeniable depth to the character, showcasing her incredible versatility as an actress. Whether she is expressing vulnerability or displaying unwavering determination, her portrayal keeps you glued to the screen.

On the other hand, Mohamad El Ahmad's performance complements Daniella's beautifully. Mohamad plays his role with a rawness that adds to the emotional complexity of the series. He portrays his character with conviction, making it clear that he is deeply invested in bringing his role to life. His ability to switch between different emotional states, often in the same scene, is remarkable. Together, Daniella and Mohamad create an undeniable on-screen presence that elevates Franklin to new heights.

The plot of Franklin is a perfect blend of thriller and drama, with twists and turns that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The story revolves around a series of events that push the boundaries of personal relationships, morality, and what it truly means to seek redemption. It's a show that questions the choices we make, the consequences of those choices, and how they shape the people we become. The narrative is refreshingly unpredictable, never leaning into cliches or predictable plotlines, which is a rare feat for a drama series these days.

One of the standout aspects of Franklin is its visual storytelling. The cinematography is stunning, with each scene meticulously crafted to evoke the emotions of the characters and the tension within the story. The use of lighting, framing, and color palettes enhances the atmosphere, creating an immersive viewing experience. The show has a gritty yet polished aesthetic, which complements its dark, intense themes. The camera work often highlights the characters' internal struggles, drawing you closer to the emotional core of the story.

The supporting cast also deserves mention, as each actor brings something special to their role. Whether it's a character whose motivations are shrouded in mystery or one whose journey intersects with the leads in unexpected ways, every member of the cast plays a crucial part in making Franklin a well-rounded, compelling series. The strong ensemble cast further elevates the show, making it feel like a collaborative effort where everyone's performance adds something meaningful to the whole.

Beyond the performances and story, Franklin excels in its exploration of complex, relevant themes. It doesn't shy away from addressing difficult topics such as trust, betrayal, and the moral gray areas people often find themselves in. The writing is sharp and insightful, allowing the show to delve into deeper conversations about personal growth, redemption, and how the past can shape the future. This is a show that doesn't just entertain but challenges viewers to reflect on their own choices and actions.

In conclusion, Franklin is a triumph for Netflix, showcasing the talents of Daniella Rahme and Mohamad El Ahmad in a gripping, emotionally charged series. The combination of stellar performances, an intriguing plot, breathtaking cinematography, and thought-provoking themes makes it a standout addition to Netflix's original lineup. Whether you're a fan of suspense, drama, or simply looking for a show with substance, Franklin is a series that will leave you thinking long after the credits roll. Don't miss out on this compelling, must-see show.
