Welcome Back Jackson Tiller, it feels like forever since we were given a new Jackson vertical and this one does not disappoint!
Following the brutal murder of her parents, and beating of her brother leaving him comatose, Christina Myers (known as Christina Moore or Christina Banana) is adopted by the fascist and misogynistic "Madam Banana" who runs "Banana Manor" a gentleman's club where the women are treated as worthless and only good for one thing. Upon Christina entering adulthood she is forced to lose her virginity to and marry Mike Jones, a 60+ year old man, in order to ensure her brothers continued care, however, upon arriving at the Jones villa she mistakenly kisses his son Logan, only to find out her fiancé is currently sleeping with another woman. To ensure she passes the medical exam Christina loses her virginity to Logan. What follows is a turbulent series of events while she seeks revenge for her family and maybe just falls for the man she really shouldn't.
Anna DeRusso plays Christina, who throughout the story we are able to see the strength and resilience of a woman! Having to play the "perfect" wife to a deceitful, cheating, abusive husband, as well as keep the secret of her love affair with his son all while trying to save her brother, please her abusive step mother and seek revenge for her parents. Anna does not disappoint in this role and expertly portrays this character.
Jackson Tiller as Logan Jones, the notorious gang leader and only legitimate son of Mike Jones, despite initial impression of a careless, ruthless, tyrannical man, we are given glimpses into his past which lead him to this point and to becoming the man he portrays to the world. Despite his outward demeanour, Jackson (as usual) is outstanding in showing the many sides of a man and we are able to see just how much he cares for Christina and wants to help her in any way he can. (Even after she continuously lies to him!)
The entire supporting cast were all perfectly suited for their roles and added to the intensity and emotion of this series!
