Exactly what you would expect from a Nickelodeon show. This show is light and fun and overall great. Not as good as other Nickelodeon shows but still good.
We stumbled upon this show on Netflix and my 5 year old watched the whole series over and over again. The thing this show has that is lacking elsewhere is decent plot and story. There are archs and storylines that actually make sense and my son started to see what a real story even is. When YouTube and Tik tok is trying to convince kids to be stimulated for 5 seconds and move on, this show keeps a kids attention and I enjoy watching it along side. The dad Tom is enough of a goofball that you can find humor in it as a parent. It's honestly just nice seeing a kids show where they aren't doing political things.
I like the show! I put it on when I am chilling in bed! But, the kids are pretty annoying and kind of ruin the show. They never learn their lessons and never get punished. The Quads could murder someone and not get in trouble! They are terrible at lying yet everybody falls for their lies. Dicky used to be my favorite character until I found out about the actor that plays him. Mace Cornel (Dicky) and Casey Simpson (Ricky) were bullying Lizzy Greene (Dawn) to the point where she started crying between scenes. I like Anne and Nicky the best. I don't like Tom because he is unsupportive of his wife. He is also annoying and always acts like a child. It's a good show! It just has a lot of plot holes.
When this show came out i was 14, but i was into show more like iCarly and Victorious and by S2 i was starting to grow of kids shows.
Now, didn't know getting in this that I'll recognize all the main cast except for one.
The show starts for the regular 9/10 years old same as the young actors, the jokes didn't hit me immediately but did for my sister and starts to progress with time and each season. Starts really innocent, a little bit of cringe and not that good acting. But I was keeping in my mind that these are 9/10 years old actors in their first big thing.
Then the show start to progress as the kids grew up, season 2 & 3 are our favorites. The kids, the jokes and the plot lines were more relatable for my sister and me at that age. The only weird thing I noticed is how long took them to shoot season 2 and it was obvious as the kids looked really grown by the end of the season and specially the beginning of season 3, like damn the pubirty hit them hard. And season 4 was obvious that is had problems related for behind the scene drama, but again a relatable stories (Kinda).
Our favorite episodes each season were S1 the Christmas episode, S2 the mall episode, S3 the YOCO and S4 the social media episode.
Didn't knowing that I'll see little Aidan, Lizzy and Mace in this, they grew so much as actors. **My favorite from the start was Ricky because i was like him in his age, and he was the best from the 4 in my opinion from acting wise and he just was improving more and more by the end, it's unfortunate that the actor not acting an more (I think?), he was really good for his age.
**For Aidan knowing him from umbrella academy, didn't believe that I'm watching the same actor, he improve SO much, specially after re-watching all the umbrella academy. In the beginning his character didn't have much story and it really improved, and he was kinda over acting till the season 2, good thing he stopped that (still cant believe that he starts in the umbrella academy right after this ).
**Lizzy, to be honest she was the worst and so cringe in S1 and till the middle of S2, first of all she grew up beautifully, second of all she became a really better actress specially knowing here from A million little things.
**Mace only saw him in That '90s show, his character the same as that, like if Dicky just grew up and suddenly living in the 90's. From the beginning i don't think that 9 yrs old kid will be that interested in the girls, but what do i know, and i understand why the character ends-up leaving.
In short, the parents a scene stallers, most of the time ( Brian from the suite live on Disney and Alisson from that '7.s show.
Just one thing in the end, is even if Dicky ends-upleaving at least 2-4 episodes to finish the series in a good note.

This show isn't TERRIBLE, but it seems like it copies most of the sitcoms that have been popular lately.
The fact that the four main characters are all quadruplets is unique, I guess, and it's easy to pick a favorite (Nicky, of course B))
Nickelodeon is still the worst kids' channel on television, with Disney close behind. But their shows have improved a TINY bit since Breadwinners. Maybe TV is making a comeback.
Anyway, back to the show. The characters are quirky, and the teacher is HILARIOUS. It's a show that appeals to both boys AND girls, which isn't something that you see a lot nowadays (most TV sitcoms nowadays are geared towards girls) and it's not painfully bad like The Thundermans.
Overall, I'd say this show is somewhat worth watching.
