The direction was beautiful. There is a real artistic touch in the way it's filmed with the long & well-composed shots, thoughtful use of lighting and a visual aesthetic that really highlights the charm of Rabat old medina and the energy of the modern city. It felt very cinematic. The acting was also a big highlight. Mouna Fettou was phenomenal; her presence on screen is powerful yet subtle, one of her best performances, so precise and full of emotion. Abdellah Didane was also excellent, and the rest of the cast did a good job overall. The writing started off strong. The first part of the series was well done but I felt like it lost its edge in the later episodes. The story kind of fizzled out, the episodes got shorter, and not much was happening. I didn't like the open ending it felt a bit rushed and unresolved but still, overall it's a nice production.

Great plot, great acting, nice filming. The pace is a bit slow sometimes. The cast had a great chemistry and were believable and relatable in their roles. I feel that the music they chose is not very creative. As much as the opening title song is very beautiful, they could have invested a little money on a music composer. The music they use is monotonous and does not fit the scenes and how sad or gripping they are. I loved all the aerial shots of Rabat and most of the establishing shots that Moroccan Tv series lack in general. I cannot wait to watch the ending of this series. But overall, it's one of my favorite shows this Ramadan.
