Ballerina Assassin

Sometimes my girl and I watch terrible infomercials for sheer comedy. This is in that realm, they should have just leaned into it. Genuine laughs had, though unsure if intentional. You are in for a treat with the lasers scene, that is peak cinema. If you are in for a well thought out cartel vs authority movie you should possibly skip this one, but if you can appreciate horrendous casting and z grade martial arts choreography then you may add to the suspiciously high ratio of 10/10 ratings from the US region.

Bad acting and worse action scenes. 1 star is giving it a higher rating than it deserves. The story line is tried and true but this movie doesn't deliver. Nothing like agency betrayal to create a movie except this one is too predictable and poorly written. If there is a movie to make the worst movies look good, this one is it.

They use the title to get views by click bait. It has nothing to do with jhon wick or his universe. You might say "not every ballerina movie with assassins is about jhon wick". Check the dates. This movies is TRASH and comes out the same year. Just to capitalize on the name. Movies like this should be outlawed.

I really want to like this but it's bad I don't want to waste any more of my time on this movie with a too detailed breakdown so here's what you get.

Lead actress...The best thing about this lame duck movie.

Action: Meh Special effects: Not only not special but some are so bad like the laser corridor and post production muzzle flares & smoke...awful.

Fight scenes: Best example of how bad...a main character was ducking behind a handrail for cover. It was so bad.

No logic of entry into a "secured" building with armed guards, shoot out scenes with no practical sense. A guard is shot on stairwell and 1 second later another guard is running down the same staircase without moving cautiously when he clearly would have heard the shot fired and his partner tumbling down the stairs....it's just baaaaad.

Within a minute I realized I started the wrong movie. The poster focussed on the Ballerina part of the name and his the assasom part, hoping to lure people in.

The acting is just terrible, and the "sniper" in the first scene can't even hold a riffle straight and is trembling harder than most adult toys.

The movie was clearly made as a clickbait for the John Wick spin off.
