Classe moyenne

Classe Moyenne is a super hilarious dark comedy about money, power and communication between two French families of different social status; I watched it at Jerusalem Film Fest and couldn't stop laughing all the way.

Mehdi (Rahim from Sex Education!) joins his girlfriend and her affluent parents to spend the vacation at their luxury summer house, which is guarded by a "classe moyenne" family hired by these parents. Small technical problems as well as demeaning communication patterns lead to a larger conflict that is shown in such a humorous and witty way. I loved the setting, the dialogues, the unexpected twists of the plot, the acting and the music. It reminded me of The White Lotus a bit, but it's a lot funnier, and very French! Go watch it when it's out and you'll have a great laugh!
