Like Friends

I like this movie: the plot is interesting and well written, the dialogues are fluid and believable, and the actors act effectively. With a limited budget, the director managed to create a well-structured product, superior to many films that come out in theaters today. I really appreciate the central narrative choice; the style is always light, never vulgar, a comedy that deals with important themes with a naive smile on the lips, in the most classic style of certain comedies of the past. The main theme is the articial intelligence, and talks about the impact that it has on our lives. A movie about a possible future, which perhaps has already arrived.

The cinematography and soundtrack enhance the film's key moments beautifully. This is a futuristic story about the relation between humans and technology (a current topic nowadays) and I really love this movie. Trieste is a beautiful and suggestive location where to film movies. The performances of the actors are amazing and the different types of characters are so interesting, especially I like Livio Soldini as Luca and Marcello Crea as Achille. There is a well-balanced mix between funny lines and moments of tension. You can relax and laugh watching it but, at the same time, it makes you reflect about life and the power that AI technology could have over the world.

I was born in Trieste, and it's always exciting to see my city featured in a film.

The film makes perfect use of the city, whose historical charm blends harmoniously with the futuristic setting, creating a visual backdrop that fits the themes perfectly. The young and promising cast, which includes newcomers to the film industry, brings a breath of fresh air and talent that makes the film even more engaging.

I really liked the actor Antonio Del Prete, his role in the unlikely confused inspector made me laugh a lot.

Directed by Marcello Crea, his films are low-budget but do not lack quality and are watched all over the world, which is a rarity in the international film scene.

I appreciated this film for the skill of the actors, the music, and the unsettling situations, despite it being a comedy. The film reflects reality-or what it could become-where even love and relationships are experienced in "technological" terms. Somewhere, these things are already happening. It's a sad reality, but it's interesting to analyze it in an ironic and lighthearted way. The result is a sci-fi comedy unlike any other.
