Despicable Me: Minion Rush

I used to play Minion Rush when i was younger, and to this day, it's still a amazing game to play, but when i've seen the newer version, they changed the graphics, trying to be like modernish but fails terribly, i heard that people saying that the graphics look awful to this play and i agree, what makes me upset is they removed my favorite locations, but at least that the Residential maps doesn't get ruined because it's one of my favorite locations when i was little, it turns this game into Campaign chore simulator, they removed JellyJab and made it into a endless mode (which i don't mind the endless mode), and what makes it worse is there's no bosses in this newer version and removed the costumes (which everyone said that) and i agree that, the only thing that i like is the powers in the newer version look good, but that doesn't save to this version to the masterpiece, i don't want to update this one because i know it's going to be worse than i expected, but at least i had a 2018-2024 version, but it's more original, and nostalgic.

I give the 2013-2017 an 10/10, 2018-2024 an 8/10, and 2025-presents an 2/10.

Minion Rush is a mobile game based on the Despicable Me film franchise. It's an alright game. It's a typical runner game where you could run in various locations and equip various costumes from the film franchise. That could be good for more completionist players.

What I have to complain about is that animation isn't as good as the films themselves. As well, I would like to see more bosses. There's just four and I want to see more, like put all the villains of the movies in the game as bosses. With that, I don't just want the villains from the "Despicable Me" movies but the "Minions" movies as well. After the first Minions movie released about the origins of the creatures, clearly the Despicable Me movies aren't the only movies in the franchise, so it's good to include locations and bosses from those movies as well.

Replace the Temple Run character with any of Minions (Carl, Jerry and Dave) and you get Minion Rush. As seen on BlueMods the game got a lot of good reviews for its graphics and intuitive controls but also criticized for overly emphasized in-app purchases.
