Naissance d'un feu

Of course the director has seen DELIVERANCE in his life and so his feature remains in the line of the genuine survival DNA film, as thousands of others of this kind. This plot is anything but new, however, considering the low budget, the story is convincing, powerful, and the characters at the top. Only the ending is a bit disappointing, but it's OK for me. From Germany, and with French actors, it is a little classical gem, unfortunately not "weird" enough to appear in a short film horror festival. The ending, I repeat, is the weak link of this short movie. Such a shame, it could have been far better.
