Wicked City

This was apparently regarded for years as a lost film, mostly known only for its soundtrack, which was released in 1998. The movie itself was shot and released in 1996, and originally called Sam. Anyway, the soundtrack rocks, full of alternative/punk/hXc/emo/ska tunes of its era; that's probably the best thing about this, along with the glimpse of a slice of life in a time and a place that some of us are nostalgic for, and others are probably curious about. I do wish they'd gone with a more verite approach because the script is, well, not good. The lead definitely had something (although like the director and most of the cast, this was her only movie).
