Zatsu Tabi -That's Journey-

This anime series is centred on Chika Suzugamori, a college students who hopes to become a mangaka. Unable to get her work published she decides to travel to find inspiration. She asks people online where she should go and follows their advice. Her first trip is such a success that she takes more trips to locations around the country, sometimes accompanied by friends. She sees many interesting sites she's never seen before and meets new people.

I really enjoyed this series. It reminded me of series like 'Laid Back Camp' and 'Encouragement of Climb' even though here the protagonist is older. The pace is gentle and the worst thing that is likely to happen is finding a place they wanted to visit closed or getting on the wrong bus... and even this can be used as inspiration for her work. The series looks great, really capturing the locations visited. The character designs and animation is also good. Overall I'd definitely recommend this to fans of the genre.
