Why isn't the mainstream media telling this story?

It doesn't matter if you are religious or not, A Faith Under Siege is a must watch for everyone. Its power comes from its tangible authenticity. It uses real people whose lives have been completely upended to tell the story of war and religious persecution in Ukraine in a way that isn't dogmatic or manipulative. The filmmakers masterfully juxtapose the inherent goodness and strength of the Ukrainian people against the evil brutality of an unjust war.

In our fast paced, 24 hour news cycle lives, it's easy to become desensitized to the horrors of armed conflicts between foreigners in far away places. But watching a Ukrainian minister mourn the death of his wife and daughters, and yet rise again in humble service to others reminds us of our responsibility to act in support of good over evil, and call for an end to this senseless war now.

    Very insightful documentary

A Faith Under Siege: Russia's Hidden War on Ukraine's Christians* is a powerful and moving exploration of the unyielding spirit of Ukraine's evangelical and Protestant communities amidst the harrowing backdrop of Russia's invasion. Directed by Yaroslav Lodygin and produced by Colby Barrett, a former U. S. Marine, and Steven Moore of the Ukraine Freedom Project, this film shines a vital light on a lesser-known dimension of the ongoing war: the systematic persecution of Christians in Russian-occupied territories. Far from being a mere recounting of suffering, the documentary is a testament to resilience, hope, and the enduring power of faith, making it a must-watch for audiences seeking to understand the human and spiritual stakes of the conflict.

    Not just for Christians

I am not a Christian, but I believe in freedom of religion for all.

Whether you are a Christian or not, you owe it to yourself to watch this film to get a better understanding of why Russia's assault on Ukraine is also an assault on you and your freedoms too.

In this case, the film is about the freedom of religion but it's clear that for Putin and Russia, freedom of any kind and anywhere (including where you live) is a threat and must be eliminated.

If you value freedom and value life, then you owe it to yourself to watch this film and do all you can to make sure Russia (and other dictatorships) are stopped.

A remarkable story of religion, war, and the truth

The film brings to light uncomfortable truths that the anti-war non-interventionist conservatives in America do not want to admit. Russia is persecuting Christians and seeking to eradicate those who are not Russian Orthodox.

As someone who comes from Mississippi and has voted Republican, I am fully on board with their message of spreading awareness of faith under siege in Ukraine. The film gathers first-hand accounts of Ukrainian Christians being persecuted by Russia. Every inch of Ukrainian territory under occupation is a place where Christians are being persecuted.

Excellent work by the directors and supporting cast! Thank you for telling such a powerful story.

    Eye opening documentary

Eye opening documentary on Ukraine being slowly crushed with particular attention to citizens, children and Christian communities and their bravery and mental strength. Well worth watching. This film was produced under dangerous wartime conditions with actual real people relating their suffering while Putin destroyed their homes and cities, killed their families and bombed their churches. I was especially interested in the attitude of the eastern Ukranian community in occupied territories who might speak the Russian language, consider themselves Ukranian and have seen their children stolen and sent to Russia for indoctrination and military training.

In the scenes where the pastor in Kherson was hunted by Russian drones, the footage of the drones dropping grenades was the actual footage. The Russians are proud of killing Ukrainian civilians and post videos of their kills on Telegram channels. Executive Producer Anna Shvetsova was able to locate the specific dates of the attacks on Russian Telegram channels.
