I don't like Mason's work in general, especially her innumerable gonzo tiles like "Kristina Rose Is Slutwoman". But for the Erotica X label (where she shares directing duties with James Avalon), the Couples Romance scenes bring out the best in her.

Opening "picnic w/sex on the grass" coupling of Maddy O'Reilly and Tyler Nixon is a disarming bit of erotic, idyllic, soft and sensual sex titled "Forever in a Day". In a similar mode is "The Moment I Knew", in which Logan Pierce (a go-to guy for romantically inclined Adult filmmakers) relates a dream he had that convinces him to invite curly-haired nubile Kimberly Day to move in with him forever (cue the humping).

James Deen and Presley Hart are a bickering in a luxurious home at the outset of "A Lonely Hart", with Presley feeling unappreciated, but a routine sex bout cures that misgiving.

Finale is titled "Crossroads", as utterly beautiful (in pantomime action) Dani Daniels takes a pregnancy test in the bathroom, and the expected (by the viewer) result causes lover Seth Gamble to switch into romantic gear.

Overall a satifying program.
