anime film of Chinese aesthetic

The artstyle of the movie is unique and beautiful,it's based on Chinese aesthetic and the chinese painting style of ink and wash painting. After the movie the director told us that he wants to narrate not only with plots but also with graphic language, for example the use of figure-ground reverse to depict the switch of day and night in this movie is really stunning . It's kind of experimental and artistic but it also offers many exciting scenes for example the action scenes which are not only perfectly in sync with the artistic style but also breathtaking and evoke our audience's emotion. Really worth to watch it!
