A chilling insight- please watch Ch4 shoot to kill.

Talks about attacks and has victims, people on duty on the day tell their side of story. It gives insight in to the challenges posed on that day.

Whole documentary was about build up to killing of "Jean Charles de Menezes". This should have been on separate Documentary.

    Episode 4

Also adds to shoot to Kill Terror on the tube shown on Channel 4. Police saying they high fives each other after a kill, after killing a Brazilian wrongly believed to be one of the failed bombers from 21 July 2005.

This was quite chilling how they give more details on how they killed an innocent man in bungled police operation led by Cressida Dick, who years later become head of Metropolitan Police Service. Not to say that she was at fault, it has had inquires, which would make up our minds.

Issue raised in program You are shown one picture from cctv camera and they had another photo of Muktar Said-Ibrahim. The police then sent out photo copied picture of suspect and Jean Charles de Menezes was mistaken for suspect. On Channel 4 Shoot to kill terorist on the tube, the fire arms officer said all they were given was a photocopy (fax) of a gym membership card and only one imagine avaliable. From what, I made of that statement is they could not have known who they were shooting. The fact his skin was not as dark could not have helped police on that day, if all they had was a photo copy in black and white. When no suicide vest has ever been used in U. K and he was only wearing a T-shirt, looks like a mistake in training and was made not by coppers who made initial approach and victim was on floor when fatal shot was fired. The Commisioner Commissioner Blair states this is not how they should have approached, a Suicide vest and this documentary adds to cover up.

This documentary and channel 4's are about cover-ups.

It adds to any call for new inquiry, in channel 4 Doc, it states police officers made errors, leading up to station.

    Pre warning!

So on the 7th of July 2005, London was brought to it's knees by 4 treacherous "beings" I refuse to call them humans, because no human would ever do what these "beings" did.

    Sorry!

Watching this makes me angry. It brings back the memories of that sad day.

We were attacked from within by radicalised nut bars.

There were celebrations in parts of London afterwards.

So why do we keep bringing in the very same ideology that did these attacks?

It's okay. There's nothing to worry about when there are 2 BILLION of this faith, but CONSERVATIVE estimates put the radicalised at 15-25%!!

That only makes 500 million radicalised people who follow this ideology.

Why is every hotel around the UK coast full of illegals?

People who have come from war-torn countries.

People who fought in those wars.

People who fought against the West, and when they got bored, the UK government let them back home, and ceased any prior surveillance.

Imo, it's only a matter of time before we're hit again. Only now, in 2025, there's a potential extra several hundred thousand, who have undoubtedly made their way here, to do something like this.

They're illegals, we know literally nothing about a large % of them!

    There you go.

This is what happens when you dredge this up 20 years later.

Hope this doesn't give any of the unknowns any ideas. Because facial recognition ain't gonna help, is it???? Not when there's nobody to recognise.

    Matters of life and death

The terrorist bombings in London in 2005 were shcokcing because, thankfully, such events were (and still are) unusual. This series gives us first hand accounts of the survivors, and of the subsequent police investigation to track down the perpetrators. The latter caught some of the bombers (the others had died in their own attacks), but also killed a wholly innocent man (and, inexcusibly, the police told untruths when first speaking of this in public). As a documentary, this programme is arguably a little slow; the story could probably have been told at three-quarters length - but it's a compelling story nonetheless. I would have liked to know more about the bombers' justifications: I very much dount they would have convinced me, but precisely because their actions seem so inexplicable (terrible and yet the opposite of self-interested); but I guess giving platforms to imprisoned terrorists was not the aim of the series. It still does its job of reminded us of the thin thread by which civilisation sometimes seems to hang.
