Holiday Melodies Embraced was the out-growth of a musical CD produced by Morcaman Productions, Inc for David Carr, Jr. During a meeting to discuss marketing of the CD, it was recommended that a one-hour TV show be produced using the same music. Once the show had been filmed and after the editing, it soon became clear that there was not enough footage to complete the show; so Joel Stephens recommended that there be a "Wrap Party" and have David play a couple of songs to fill out the time.
