Bad direction, plot holes and unexplained stuff, this pretty much summarize the whole movie. I would commend the filmmakers going into a world bollywood doesn't try too often, however, the direction was not at all upto the mark. The film is not as imaginative as the makers claim it is. The background music did try to put some thrill but fails. You don't feel what's going on the screen, don't feel related because there is no character development. You don't feel immersed in the universe the movie has created. Most probably because of the actor, there has to be an innocence, a vulnerability in such a character for the audience to feel the pain and fear, that was totally missing. That's why the audience don't feel it. The movie theatre I went to, had only 5 people watching the movie (excluding me). All of them were bored as hell. A movie that can easily be skipped to save time and money. If you have seen a lot of Hollywood movies, you will definitely not going to waste your time on this one.
I watched the trailer of Baida and instantly decided to watch the movie. Booked the tickets the same day and to my surprise the hall was empty just me and my wife. But it turned out to be a very bad experience. Felt like this movie doesn't deserve such a big release. A good chance wasted and nothing entertains you in the movie. The BGM is trying so hard to draw your interest but it can't compensate for a good script. Plot of the movie is so weak. Actors are trying to act but the characters aren't well written. Cinematography is good but nothing can compensate for a weak storyline. Its so slow just like a turtle but it couldn't win against the hare. Avoid this movie at any cost. Such a waste of time and money.
I would have given zero star, but it's not available.

The concept is truly refreshing and unlike anything we typically see in Bollywood. It's so rare to come across stories that break away from the usual formulas, and this one brings something new and exciting to the table. We definitely need more such narratives in the industry, ones that push boundaries and showcase fresh perspectives.
What's even more impressive is the fact that the actors aren't star kids, yet their performances are absolutely outstanding. They have truly elevated the characters, making them feel so real and raw. It's a testament to their talent and dedication to their craft. You don't need a family legacy to shine in this industry, and these actors have proven that with their mind-blowing performances.
I'm eagerly waiting for the second part! The storyline has so much depth and potential, and Sudhanshu has done an incredible job weaving it all together. Can't wait to see what's next! Keep it up, Sudhanshu! 👏

BAIDA brings a refreshing change by steering away from typical sci-fi clichés. Instead, it presents a gripping story that blends supernatural elements with emotional depth. The story keeps you guessing, and the film's smart direction ensures every twist lands effectively. Sudhanshu Rai's performance keeps the audience invested, but it's Sourabh Raaj Jain's villainous act that steals the spotlight. The film's impressive cinematography and gripping score add tension, making it hard to look away. With strong writing, well-crafted visuals, and memorable performances, BAIDA proves to be an exciting watch for thriller enthusiasts.
What have I just watched, oh my god this is super bad, worse than those 1990s b-grade films, at least they were more entertaining. Not a single actor showed they have any bit of acting skills. This looks like to be shot on a budget of 50 lac indian rupees, I don't have an issue with that. This is a dumb movie with a flawed plot. Only for dumb viewers. There is one plot hole after another, you keep waiting for something exciting to happen on the screen but it never happens. A sci-fi thriller with no sci-fi and no thrill. I was about to sleep in the second half but gatherer the courage to watch the full movie expecting a turnaround in the climax but that never happened. This is seriously bad and cheap filmmaking.
