This is a great series based around the vertical storyline of a rich woman hiding her identity to protect her husbands ego, however, I find this one to be my favourite following this storyline.
Sharon Green played by Noemi Van Slyke, is our main protagonist who is hiding her identity as top fashion designer "Musette", and founder & CEO of the top fashion design company "Musette Fashion". Noemi demonstrates phenomenal acting prowess in this powerful role, filling the viewer with heartache and pain - knowing she had given up everything for Martin only to be betrayed. Having injured her hand saving Martins life from a fire ultimately ending her career as she could no longer sew. Upon finding Elaine in her bed wearing her night gown while Martin is in the shower, she is led to believe Martin is having an affair, and demands a divorce.
Martin Davis played by Jeffers Violette, our male lead, is CEO of the Davis group, he has been manipulated and deceived by his mother, sister and Elaine into believing that Sharon is the problem in his life. Jeff's acting abilities have grown so much in the year(ish) he has been taking part in vertical series, it is amazing to watch him becoming more comfortable and confident in his abilities - I just know we can expect so many great things from this man! The depth of this character and his portrayal is outstanding. We start off believing Martin is another "a$$hole" husband, but throughout the series we learn more and more about him and really start to understand why Sharon fell in love with him in the first place.
Tate Doppler (Edward Turner) & Skyla Lynne (Elaine Smith) in their supporting roles in this series are fantastic as always - with Skyla playing her part as a the iconic villainess and Tate as always the amazing supportive best friend.
Despite it being a sad moment, I could not stop laughing at "take an aspirin" and its reuse within the series.
Can Martin and Sharon find their way back together? And just WHO is Teddy!?
10/10 - even though it is a repeated storyline, the acting in this is fantastic and these actors deserve this rating.
