I just turned on the TV and this show was on. First time I just started laughing at a kids show. I like that they don't have that sing-song "Dora Explorer" delivery and the humor was great. So was the animation. If I were a kid, I totally watch it. (Shhhhh....I'm going to watch it anyway.)
The colors are great and so are the voices. I like that they use kids and adults to voice the characters, and humor that parents and kids can laugh at. So it's not just educational, it's fun and creative and makes you laugh.
I have no idea why they only have a few stars. I think this my new favorite kids show!

This show has gotten unfairly poor ratings. It is a wonderful show that is teaching my son to speak. He has Apraxia, which makes speech is very difficult for him. This show is paced at a speed where children can actually follow what is being said and learn the material without watching it over and over and over. That being said, you won't mind watching it again and again. It is magical, creative and fun. I usually despise programming for kids but this is a winner for sure. It teaches kids to treat people with decency and acceptance without cramming morality messages down their throats. I REALLY hope they make more seasons of this show.
This show is fantastic. It's funny at times and has some catchy tunes. The graphics are on par with the computer generated kid shows of today.
My son doesn't watch much TV, but when he does, it has to be this show. He loves it and dances to the songs. The method they use to teach words, letters and phonetics is clever and engaging.
I really don't understand the low rating that it has currently (3/10). It almost seems like there are false reviews appearing? There are definitely incoherent ones, and it makes me believe that the show was just targeted by some people who were bored and wanted to see ratings get affected by their efforts.
If you're truly a parent and want to know if this show is worth watching, then ignore those other reviews.

I'm really not sure why people are leaving such negative reviews, either about the content of the show or about the animation. I believe the animation is about as top notch as you can get. As far as the show content, this is a fantastic way for preschoolers to learn about letter sounds, combination of sounds, and sounding words out. The stories are engaging and frankly, the music is rather sophisticated. If they came out with a wallykazam CD, I would probably buy it for myself. In short, this is quality television that you don't have to feel guilty for letting your preschooler watch. Actually, I'm rather miffed if I'm too busy for it. If you need a recommendation, my 4 year old boy requests this show over other, flashier shows 100% of the time.
I'm hoping that my son doesn't watch a lot of TV and uses his own imagination in play...that being said, this show holds his attention for 20 minutes straight and I find nothing inappropriate about it.
The 'villains' are hilarious (I'm a fan of Bobgoblin) and the phonetic lessons are great for the very young.
Wally teaches rhyming (all the magic words had to rhyme with bash), letter sounds, and group letter sounds (sp, tr, etc).
Most of the characters are likable and the songs are catchy. I think this show is a great opportunity for learning in young children. I certainly hope there are more episodes made!
