Badgast

We enjoyed Badgast very much. Good views, acting, suspence, humoristic (black humor), entertaining and a good written story. Frank Focketeyn's acting was surprising in a good way. He's a well respected actor in Belgium, mostly in comic roles. We saw for the first time new talents in the main roles. Janny Henkens, Neeroeteren, Belgium.

From production to directing to continuity to acting to storyline and absolute disaster. Completely unbelievable and far from realistic. It's neither a comedy neither a drama. It's everything combined and basically nothing at all. It has been a very, very long time since I've watched such a bad series. 1 star for effort.

I watched the entire season in one go, and I really tried to like it, but couldn't.

The continuity mistakes, the strange plot twists, the choices and actions that make no sense, the weird character arc for Sergio, the old timey music choices... So many ingredients that make the final recipe tasteless.

The actors all tried their best, but the writers came up with a storyline that forced certain things to fit the plot, and it didn't work. I also felt like most of the cinematography came straight out of film school, without any real soul.

And at some point it seemed like every single character was portrayed as a "loser" at least once. It's just all strange.

Too bad.
